Airborne Technologies – Our Epoxy Solutions at Drone World Expo

Airborne Technologies – Our Epoxy Solutions at Drone World Expo

On 3–5 March 2026, we attended Drone World Expo, held in the Ptak Warsaw Expo trade fair and congress centre.

Drone World Expo is a new event on the map of industry meetings for unmanned system technologies in Central and Eastern Europe. This year’s première edition of the Expo brought together businesses, experts and the new-tech sector people, all with interest in the advancements on the UAV market. The Expo provided a platform for showcasing innovative solutions, exchanging knowledge and building contacts and networks among businesses in the field of advanced technologies, automation and unmanned systems.

Drone technologies and the developments in the UAV market

The Expo was a show of a wide range of solutions for the design, production and applications of drones. The technologies on the display covered both advanced UAV systems used in industry and supporting solutions, namely software, analytics systems and structural components.

Today, drones are used across multiple sectors of the economy, including:

  • infrastructure and energy monitoring,
  • industrial inspections,
  • precision agriculture,
  • logistics and transport,
  • rescue and public safety operations.

As the UAV market develops dynamically, structural materials to build lightweight, strong and durable drone components gain in importance.

Epoxy resin applications in drone-making

Among a range of applications, epoxy materials are used in the production of:

  • frames and load-bearing components of drones,
  • enclosures and structural components,
  • carbon- or glass fibre-reinforced composite components.

The properties of epoxy resins guarantee high mechanical strength at low weights of the entire structure, which is key for the performance and flight parameters of drones. These materials further offer good resistance to environmental factors, temperature and moisture, to ensure durability and reliability of components used in demanding operating conditions.

Inspiring meetings and sharing of expertise

Our participation in Drone World Expo was an excellent opportunity to meet representatives of the technology industry, drone manufacturers and companies developing innovative solutions for the industry.

During the event, we drew inspirations from multiple discussions on the directions and trends in the UAV market and the role of advanced materials in the design of state-of-the-art aircraft structures. The Expo also occasioned networking and new business opportunities through expertise sharing with experts from across sectors and industries.

Directions and trends in technology

The development of drone technologies shows how important it is to combine and join competences and specializations from various areas, from design and electronics, to software, to advanced structural materials. In this context, the role of composite materials and epoxy resins is growing in building lighter, more durable and more efficient UAV designs.

The Expo gave us a valuable experience and an inspiration for the further development of material solutions supporting advanced technologies.

Thank you to everyone who visited our stand at the event.

We are looking forward to having further discussions and doing business together.
