INFRASTRUCTURE BUILT TO SUPPLY IN-HOUSE-SOURCED NITROGEN TO SARZYNA CHEMICAL PRODUCTION DEPARTMENTS

Scope of the CAPEX project

The project covered the construction of foundation slabs intended for a nitrogen gasification stations (storage tanks, atmospheric evaporator) in two locations (areas of Epoxy Resins Department and Polyester Resins Department).

New nitrogen grid for Sarzyna Chemical

Where necessary, new nitrogen grid sections were also installed to enable connection of Sarzyna Chemical’s production facilities to the gasification stations. The maiden run of liquid nitrogen and commissioning of the grid were completed shortly after the hand-over of the project.

Benefits of having your own nitrogen source

Having your own nitrogen source brings many benefits, such as independence and stability of supply, which eliminates dependence on external suppliers and ensures continuity of production. In addition, it saves money by reducing the costs associated with purchasing and transporting nitrogen. An in-house source of nitrogen also increases operational flexibility, allowing production to be adjusted to the plant’s current needs, which in turn improves operational efficiency. It also enhances safety by reducing the risk of supply interruptions that can affect production processes. In addition, an in-house nitrogen source contributes to environmental protection by reducing transportation-related emissions and improving resource management.
