On 22 November 2024, the Subcarpathian Philharmonic held an awards gala at which Józef Nicpoń, Company Social Labour Inspector at Sarzyna Chemical Sp. z o. o. in Nowa Sarzyna received a prestigious award for second place in the “Most Active Social Labour Inspector” competition.
Exceptional Commitment
Józef Nicpoń’s exceptional commitment to improving working conditions in his plant has stood out for years. His job focus is to ensure occupational health and safety compliance and to protect workers’ rights. By highlighting the role of social labour inspectors, his initiatives have made Sarzyna Chemical Sp. z o. o. a role model for other companies in the region.
Józef himself modestly points to the enormous contribution and input from his team and colleagues: “This award comes from years of work and experience, and merit that is not only mine but also the whole team’s. But for their commitment, we would not have fared so well.”
The “Most Active Social Labour Inspector” Competition and Gala
The competition, organized by the State Labour Inspection, sets out to promote the activities of social labour inspectors who actively contribute to the improvement of occupational health and safety in enterprises. Józef Nicpoń, who ranked second in the competition, proved the real impact that his work has in improving working conditions and compliance with labour law.
During the gala, attended by the Chief Labour Inspector Marcin Stanecki, winners of competitions and programs organized by the State Labour Inspection were given awards and diplomas. Marcin Stanecki stressed the importance of preventive and promotional campaigns that promote safe work habits and raise awareness of applicable rules in this area.
