Sarzyna Chemical awarded the Silver Medal from EcoVadis

Sarzyna Chemical received the Silver Medal from EcoVadis, the world’s largest independent rating platform that evaluates companies in terms of sustainable development and social responsibility.

EcoVadis result is given as a percentage scale after the number of points scored has been recalculated. The assessment covers a wide range of CSR issues divided into four categories: environment, work practices and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement, and its methodology is based on international standards such as: The Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact, conventions of the International Labor Organization (ILO) , the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards or the ISO 26000 standard.

EcoVadis classifies over 75 thousand enterprises. The unique assessment methodology covers 200 purchasing categories in 160 countries. The company works with several thousand external stakeholders, including NGOs, trade unions, international bodies, local governments and audit firms.
